Our Client, a large national media corporation is looking to add a Sr. Industrial Relations Consultant to its Toronto team.

This is a 2 year contract - with possibility of extension/ permanent employment.

Reporting to the Director, Industrial Relations, you will be responsible for providing day to day direction, advice and guidance to management and HR personnel.

Your role will include a wide range of Industrial Relations matters including: negotiations, grievances, arbitrations, administration and interpretation of collective agreements. You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with both senior management and senior union officials.


You are the ideal candidate if you:
?are a labour lawyer or industrial relations professional with 3-5 years experience
?have experience with negotiations, arbitration, mediation
?have in depth knowledge of applicable labour legislation
?have good written and oral communication skills
?have strong problem solving skills
?have solid interpersonal skills with the ability to create strong relationships with stakeholders
?bilingualism is an asset
