Our client is the regulatory body for one of the province’s health professions. They are looking to add a Conduct Counsel/ Investigator to their Edmonton team.

Reporting to the Director, Conduct, you will be responsible for supporting the work of the Conduct department.

Your responsibilities will include:
-representing the organization at hearings
-handling discipline matters
-conducting prosecutions
-conducting investigations
-participating in other administrative/regulatory processes

Requirements:

You are the ideal candidate if you:
-have three to five years of legal experience
-have administrative tribunal experience
-can function independently while contributing to a larger team
-have excellent writing, research, organizational. communication, and problem-solving skills
-have experience in health law/ medical malpractice
-a background in a healthcare profession is an asset
