This is an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Specialist to join a winning team, with one of Canada’s leading Business law firms!

Description:

Our client, a leading business law firm, is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join the Client Development team of this prestigious and forward-thinking firm. Ensuring efficient and timely delivery of RFP materials, the Proposal Specialist will be an essential member of the team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing proposal/credential documents using firm templates, customizing as appropriate;
• Preparing proposal outlines to adhere to RFP compliance;
• Assisting in project managing bid opportunities;
• Arranging for the production and delivery of proposal/credential packages;
• Maintaining and updating proposal database and tracking materials;
• Coordinating representative work for proposal/credential packages;
• Proofreading diverse business development documents for clarity and accuracy;
• Ensuring master content files are up to date; and
• Working flexible hours, as required.

Requirements:

You are the ideal candidate if you:

• Have University/College Diploma (preferably in marketing or communications)
• Have a Minimum of 5 Years Relevant Experience in the legal or professional services industry;
• Have Proposal writing, editing and formatting experience – is required!
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office including: Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook and Excel;
• Have experience with: iManage, Sharepoint, inDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, InterAction is an asset;
• Are extremely well organized with excellent attention to detail and time management skills;
• Have the ability to develop and maintain sound and cordial working relationships;
• Are a pro-active thinker with the ability and willingness to listen and to influence;
• Are able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment;
• Exceptional Written/Oral communication and Interpersonal skills;
• Are able to work well within a team setting and independently;
• French language skills are an asset
