Our client, a U.S. based electronic waste recycling company, is looking for a Client Development/Sales Account Associate who is results-oriented and a creative thinker to join their team in the Los Angeles office. The incumbent must have a proven track record in Sales and/or Business Development as well as in one or more of the following areas: Telecommunications, Recycling, Reclamation services or Waste Management. An outstanding opportunity to use your sales experience in a client-focused, cutting edge industry.

Responsibilities:
• devise proposals, conduct meetings and marketing strategies in order to develop the company’s service with the goal of increasing its market share and meeting or exceeding purchasing quotas
• aggressively approach potential clients, utilize industry knowledge, relationships, and product knowledge to find and close deals
• negotiate customized project based service agreements
• maintain and manage client relationships
• communicate regularly with clients in emails, letters, proposals and presentations
• Develop and implement professional sales proposals and presentations

Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of sales experience in an established firm or company
• MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business, law or related field from a reputable university
• Entrepreneurial – a self-starter with proven abilities to manage projects from start to completion
• Energetic, confident, driven, adaptable, organized, ability to prioritize, can work without direct supervision, team player with high regard and sensitivity to customer needs
• Professional demeanour, ability to maintain a trusted client relationship
• Strong negotiation skills and English communication skills, written and oral
• Competitive edge and desire to excel
• U.S. experience and/or international experience are an asset
• Available for travel
• Experience with RFP management an asset
• Office location flexible based on experience
