Overview Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking company, is looking to add a Legal Assistant with at least 5-7 years of strong, relevant experience, to support their legal team. The successful candidate should be proactive, organized and able to work both independently and within a group setting. Responsibilities: • Open files and maintain the filing system in accordance with the professional regulation of lawyers and notaries; • Oversee the calendars of the department’s team; • Write letters and emails on behalf of the department; • Fulfill administrative tasks, including but not limited to filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.; • Arrange conference calls/rooms, hotels, flights, and prepare expense reports; • Set up purchase orders and process expenses; and • Receive, sort and distribute the post.
