Employment Lawyer with Partial Book

Overview

Our client, a well-established full-service law firm is looking to grow its Toronto office. They are looking for an Employment Lawyer with a partial practice/portable book of business with 3-7 years of experience in employment law (non-union). More than competitive compensation is available for the selected candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity, to join a dynamic firm and further grow their practice in a professional, collegial and collaborative firm environment.
 
Requirements:
  
You are the ideal candidate if you have/are:
 
  • Knowledge of applicable provincial and federal laws, including but not limited to the common law.
  • Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, Canada Labour Code, Human Rights Code and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing a wide range of documents including, but not limited to, employment agreements, demand letters, and termination letters.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable managing files independently.
