Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Tax department of a well established full service law firm in Toronto as a Tax Partner and expand your practice within a dynamic and collaborative milieu and work on sophisticated files amongst seasoned Tax practitioners, particularly in cross-border corporate tax matters, reorganizations, m & a, and tax and estate planning files.Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a member in good standing of the Ontario Bar;
• Have approximately 10 + years of pertinent tax experience;
• Have strong drafting, negotiating, analytical & interpersonal skills;
• Have solid business acumen and strong client facing abilities;
• Be able to handle competing priorities;
• Be able to work well independently as well as within a team; and
• Have demonstrable leadership experience and be able to delegate
and mentor junior lawyers.
