Our client, a leading global provider of corporate and information services, is looking for an Operations Manager who has clearly demonstrated leadership abilities and can excel as an integral player in the management team to join their Montreal office. An outstanding opportunity to use your significant business and legal experience in a client-focused, innovative company.


•Develop and implement company’s business plan and project initiatives
•Ensure that the operational and product development process is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible, and that the services provided meet the clients’ needs and expectations
•Monitor existing processes and analyze their effectiveness
•Develop new strategies, processes and methods of efficiency
•Liaise with other departments to ensure deliverables are met, information is shared and strategies are implemented
•Provide support to establish and track budgets
•Train and engage other employees
•Support management team as required


The candidate must have legal training in corporate law as well as a proven track record in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Strategic Planning and Organization, Product Development and/or Business Development. The ideal candidate also has the following skills/abilities:

•Bachelor or other degree in Law (paralegal, lawyer or notary)
•5 years or more experience in the field of corporate law (corporate due diligence searches, corporate filings, entity management, RDPRM searches etc) in a Law Firm, other professional services firm and/or in-house environment
•A self-starter with proven leadership abilities, interpersonal skills and change management know-how
•Experience successfully managing workflow processes
•Strong business acumen and solid understanding of financial information and budgets
•Team player with high regard and sensitivity to customer needs
•Professional demeanour and articulate
•Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, yet able to see the big picture
•Experience implementing new technologies in a business setting
•Experience managing a team would be an asset
•Fluently bilingual
